HRS use a remotely operated, bespoke heavy duty rail twisting machine to apply precise calibrated twists to rails. Our twisting facility can accurately twist 56E1 (113A) and 39E1 (80lb) rails to your requirements. Standard and harder grade rails can be processed where required.
Pre-Curving of Rails
Pre-curving helps to reduce and simplify installation times and takes into account the curving characteristics required.
Working from customer supplied specifications, our state of the art, heavy duty rail curving machinery is used to pre-curve a wide range of rail profiles, starting from radii of 25 metres.

Drilling & Cold Bolt Expansion (CBX)
HRS employ the latest calibrated tooling for drilling holes in a range of rail profiles and grades. We drill fish bolt and bond holes to required diameters and CBX every hole they drill, as a matter of course. The RailTec CBX process from Fatigue Technology (FTI) is a preventative system that helps reduce rail breakages, track-related incidents and derailments.
